Two things, both free to install: the app on your phone, and a small plugin on your WordPress site so the two can talk to each other. Grab whichever ones you need below.
This is where you'll chat, add photos, and publish. Everything described on the main Bluegoose page happens here.
Direct download. No Play Store listing yet, so your phone installs it straight from the file.
Download for Android (v1.1.0)After downloading, open the file and tap Install. Your phone may warn you it's from outside the Play Store. That's expected for now, tap "Install anyway."
The iPhone version is being tested through Apple TestFlight and isn't public yet.
TestFlight link not available yetTestFlight lets you install the app before it reaches the App Store. We'll put the invite link right here as soon as testing opens up.
This is the plugin your website needs so the app can publish posts directly to it. Install it once. After that, updates show up automatically in Plugins → Updates, same as any other plugin.
Get the latest version as a zip file. No account or sign-up needed.
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip you downloaded, and click Install Now.
Click Activate Plugin once the install finishes.
Go to Settings → Bluegoose in your WordPress admin. Scan the QR code shown there with the app to connect your site. That's the only WordPress screen you'll need.
Only need this if you're also planning to sell tickets. It's a separate plugin that adds ticket types, VAT, a checkout, and payments (Mollie, Stripe, PayU, Przelewy24) to your WordPress site. Once it's active, the app can create events by chat the same way it creates posts.
Get the latest version as a zip file.
Same as above: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Install Now → Activate Plugin.
A new Events section appears in your WordPress admin. Add ticket types, prices and a VAT rate, and you're ready to open registration.
